Dunkin Donuts Bukit Antarabangsa Again
Ha.... Dunkin Donuts Bukit Antarabangsa kembali lagi!!! Seperti biasa kalau dah tak tau nak menyumbat apa, kami akan menyumbat sandwhich set di Dunkin Donuts tapi kali ini it was for brunch...
Sangat sesuai di pagi hari hampir-hampir tengahari pekena Kopi Dunkin yang boleh tahan sedapppp hehehehe...
Chicken Mayo & Boston CremeDan lebih sesuai dengan Donut Boston Creme yang manis (ahaks tak sedar diri tu dah Kencing Manis kan?) bersama what else, Chicken Mayo Sandwhich duntuk diri ku
Egg Mayo & Double ChocDan Double Choc Donut (KN's favourite) serta Egg Mayo in crossaint untuk my darling hehehe... Maka bertambah-tambahlah calorie kami yang sememangnya sudah banyak ini... Sekian...
Krua Thai Restaurant Bukit Antarabangsa Again
One of the things yang Kal El suka order kat Krua Thai Restaurant Bukit Antarabangsa ni ialah Kuey Teow Gorengnye - hmmm macamana sebenarnya ejaan benda alah ni ya? Ada yang eja Kueh Teow, Kuey Tew dan macam-macam lagi.
Kuey Teow GorengHaaa... Kuey Teow ni specially made for Kal El - takde sayur, takde seafood dan letak hirisan daging muahahaha sungguh baik untuk kesihatan tapi percayalah sedap sangat. Kuey Teow memang sedap kalau ada daging.
Sup AyamNi pula lauk KN - Sup Ayam makan ngan Nasi Putih...
Sup EkorAnother one of Kal EL's favourites (dan juga sangat baik untuk kesihatan Kal El ahaks - konon!) Sup Ekor - haaaa ada sejarahnya Kal El suka sup ekor ni... cinta lama masa kat uni dulu la ngajar makan ni... sampai sekarang suka... tapi arwah mak Kal El dulu marah Kal El makan ni sebab berlemak... hmmmm yang tak elok tu la yang sedap kan? Kalau Kal El order Sup Ekor mesti minta pedas berapi... si ada la cili padi berenang-renang dalam mangkuk tu.
Fresh Orang Gelas GiantDan jeng jeng jeng.... dah datang gila Kal El... walaupun tak boleh minum banyak entah kenapa nafsu ini melonjak ahahahah untuk minum Fresh Orang Giant Glass dia Krua Thai... sedap!
Hui Masakan CIna Muslim, Bukit Antarabangsa
There are many posters and buntings promoting this new eatery in Bukit Antarabangsa near Atheneum Condo. Kalau hari-hari lalu nampak advertisement yang sama, who wouldn't want to try their food lah? The adverts read: Hui Masakan Cina Islam - wah Chinese food and halal some more!
Vietnamese Beef RiceKN ordered the Vietnamese Beef Rice - err Vietnamese? I thought it's Chinese food... sama ke? And dissapointingly the menu was very limited. Agaknya dia ni baru nak belajar masak and most of the lauk available was beancurd and stew. Hmmmm...
Lemon Chicken and Sunny Side UpSo, I ended up ordering telur mata kerbau and lemon chicken (cut into fillets and it was dry, macam takde lemon pun)
Beancurd and White RiceI also orderded Bean Curd (which looked more like scrambled egg), all of them to b eaten with white rice - honestly, the food was tasteless, nasib baik ada semangkuk cili padi and kicap that saved the day. Ada la rasa akhirnya.
KN's Watermelon Juice and My Lime JuiceWell, I think this restaurant needs to do more research on the menu and the cook definitely needs to do some food tasting session - he or she tastes it first la before selling to the public. Even the drinks were tasteless... KN had watermelon juice (lebih air, watermelon seinci aja agaknya) and mine, limau ais which tasted like plain water with lime.. aiyooo yo, teruk la cenggini. ..
Nasi Tomato @ Bukit Antarabangsa Stall
Salah satu yang menarik kat puncak Bukit Antarabangsa ialah Nasi Tomato ini yang dijual di sebelah malam berdekatan dengan 7 Eleven. Dia bukan di kedai tetapi sebuah gerai bersebelahan gerai burger di kanan 7E dan kedai elektrik/lampu di Bukit Antarabangsa.
Kal El suka akan rasa Nasi Tomato ini, sedap lauk ayamnya dan acar pencak memang padan dengan rasa Nasi dan lauknya. Di gerai tersebut ada juga menjual Nasi Lemak tapi Kal El lebih gemarkan Nasi Tomato ni. Cubalah!
Kisah Penyucian Jiwa Tertangguh Lagi
Assalamu'alaikum. Masih berkesempatan Kal El mengucapkan Salam Aidiladha di hari ke tiga ini. Aidil Adha Kal El yang semamangnya lain sejak 4 tahun lalu dengan ketiadaan ibu, tahun lepas dengan serangan strok dan tahun ini dengan renal failure dan yang paling hampir trajedi di Bukit Antarabangsa. Kal El telah tinggal di sebelah atas tempat kejadian sejak 5 tahun lalu.

HULU KLANG: Gempar apabila kawasan perumahan mewah Bukit Antarabangsa berhampiran kawasan bencana tanah runtuh di sini, ‘diserang' sekumpulan babi hutan yang muncul secara tiba-tiba bersebelahan sebuah rumah banglo dua tingkat di sini.Sari Pati: Babi hutan muncul
Dalam kejadian jam 2.30 petang semalam, babi hutan berwarna coklat gelap berkenaan didapati muncul berhampiran tapak pembuangan sampah yang terletak hanya 300 meter dari lokasi kejadian tanah runtuh di sini.

Egg and Bacon in CroissantOur of idea again on what to have for dinner so we headed to Dunkin Donuts at Petronas Bukit Antarabangsa for our usual sandwich set. This time KN had the Egg and Bacon in Croissant while I had the Sliced Chicken also in Crossant.

The Delicious Cup of CoffeeNasi Ayam On The Run
Esso on the Run serves surprisingly delicious Nasi Ayam on our last visit there. Unfortunately when we came back the week after the chicken didn't taste as good. Basically it's all about qulity control. The second time we came ayam dia macam dah berhari rasanya. Keras whereby the first time we tried it tasted fresh and juicy - mesti masa tu baru prepare.
But like any nasi ayam, for me the deliciousnes lies on the sambal. Memang sedap sambal kat On the Run Cafe ni tapi masalahnya you cannot ask for extra and will have to pay kalau nak. For take aways a small tub besar Coleslaw KFC yang kecil tu harga dia 90 sen. Apa kebendanya la itu pun nak jual dan berkira? Tapi sedap punya pasal and because one will never be enouh for Kal El bila makan nasi ayam, mesti la beli.
Di On the Run Cafe Esso Station ni ada berbagai set - bukan nasi ayam aja. Ada set nasi lemak, sandwhiches dan macam-macam lagi. Another worth trying is their nasi lemak bungkus (Esso MRR2 kat junction nak naik BUkit Antarabangsa tu) sambal dia boleh tahan and their hot dog is nice.
This nasi ayam set we had was for two. Murah, dalam belas-belas ringgit, RM12+ I think dapat 2 set nasi, 2 medium sized orange juice dan 2 ice cream. Complete meal. Selalu kalau Kal El dan KN tak tau nak makan apa, ni la one of the places kami akan pi. Atau masa-masa poket kemarau nasi lemak kat sini la jadi mangsa. Makan 2 ke 3 pun still affordable. Hehehehe...

Buka Puasa @ Djeumpa, Bukit Antarabangsa
KN and I were invited to the opening of Celebrity Chef Zaidah's (the chef with the sweetest looking mole on her face) new eatery at Oakleaf Club Bukit Antarabangsa on the 4th day of Ramadhan. The restaurant called Djeumpa has just opened its doors after the lot was vacant for quite sometime. InsyaAllah staying just opposite the club, we'll be going there again - fabulous food (of course lah what do you expect when it's chef owned?) plus the usual airy Bukit Antarabangsa surrounding greets you while you dine in at this nice place.
Among others served for bebuka (which will usually cost patrons RM38++ per head during Ramadhan - free last night heheheh) were Nasi Minyak and Nasi Putih with lauk pauk like Paceri Nenas, Dalcha Sayur, Daging, Ayam Kerutub, Ikan Bakar as well as other dishes like Mee Rebus, Sup Tulang, delicious line up of sweet desserts, fruits and choices of cold and hot drinks. The menu would change daily and we were told they're serving seafood on Friday 5th Ramadhan.
It was a short and sweet event with celebrities like Jaafar Onn and a couple others present. Jaafar Onn presented guests with three traditional songs and there were also traditional music being played live as guests enjoyed their meal.

Mother's Day @ Hillside Corner Restaurant
For mother's day this year we initially planned to go for Nasi Padang Puteri Bongsu Batam at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng for lunch but papa had to go back to Johore as his twin sister was really sick with Cancer. So we decided to go somewhere near and since Ka'Ngah wanted to go to the Hillside Corner Restaurant @ Bukit Antarabanga, the five of us decided to go there for lunch.
The Hillside Corner Restaurant @ Bukit AntarabangsaMother's Day started early in the morning with a visit to Mummy's grave. I didn't get anything for Ka'ngah since the lunch treat was on me. Sapit bought Ka'ngah three pots of her facourite plants; 2 pots of roses and a pot of Bunga Zaleha. It was supposedly something different this year since if he was going to give her a bouquet of flowers, it will not last long - ahahah good idea indeed.

Grilled Steak with Terriyaki Sauce and Baked Potato 
Japanese Style SpaghettiI had the Grilled Terriyaki Steak prepared medium with baked potato and Cucumber juice for drinks. Along also had the same Grilled Terriyaki steak but prepared well done with fries and Pink Guava juice. Ka'ngah had the grilled chicken chop with Kiwi Juice while Sapit had the Japanese Style Spaghetti with Sarsi float. Arif on the other hand ordered Spaghetti Bolognese with Coke.
