Nasi Bukhara @ Syed Taman Permata
It is so difficult to find good briyani nowadays. Those claiming to sell Nasi Beriyani Gam doesn't know hell what Briyani Gam is all about - senang-senang je letak nama. I have only tasted a good Briyani Gam once this lifetime and I swear to God that it's authenthic and vry delicious. Too bad this person who used to cook Briyani Gam whenever my mom ordered during family gatherings (my mother's friend's husband) had passed on due to Diabetes.
One special thing about briyani gam that distinguishes it from other briyani is the sauce - ada kuah pekat (sort of like a paste) yang digaul sekali dengan nasi. Usually Briyani gam would be prepared using beef dan akan ada telur rebus di dalamnya.
Bukhara Ayam
The nearest to this that I have come accross is the Briyani Bukhara at Syed Restaurants - there are three Syeds that I know of; Taman Permata, Section 11 Shah Alam and Alam Sentral in Shah Alam.
