Goodbye Dubai... For Now...
I finally received an email reply from Emirates after a couple of months wondering what had happened to my application.
The Verdict: I won't be going there until they decide to continue hiring for that particular position. I am sure whatever God has planned for me, it is for the best. Like I always believe in "Ada Hikmah Di sebalik Kejadian" InsyaAllah.
Here's the content of the letter:
Dear Kal El
Sub: Application for the Position of Superman
I refer to your recent application for employment in response to our advertisement and our request for an interview..
Unfortunately, the position you have expressed interest in is now on hold. However, if the situation changes, and if we wish to progress your application, we will contact you to see if you are still interested in being considered.
We regret we do not have the opportunity to proceed with your application for the above role at this time and take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in Emirates Group.

tak per ler tuh, kalau ada rezeki, sure dtg baliknyer.... cuba check Etihad Airlines.... they are also hiring big time... ramai Malaysian kat situ... lagipun, Abu Dhabi is better compared to Dubai (I think), more laid back... tak ler tension memanjang dgn traffic jam nyer dan mcm2 lagilah....

InsyaAllah the time will come for me to work overseas like you .. kalau dah tertulis olehNya takkan lari ke mana kan? i've made a couple of new friends there actually masa tengah research pasal Dubai... perhaps i'll just go there for a vacation one day...
